always subtitles… the film loses a lot from it’s original atmosphere and from the performances of the actors if you don’t listen to their real voices and the language they’re speaking… and i think it’s not really that disorienting, if you get used to it…
Subtitles because in dubbing, they change EVERYTHING. They take out all of the violence, the swearing and all of that, while in the subtitles it might be hard to understand at some parts but it keeps the actual entertainment.
I prefer subtitles. I once watched "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" dubbed and it was utterly ridiculous to hear the English. It sounded insincere and really phony. You can’t get the same emotions from a recording booth.

I do prefer subtitles but I find it hard to watch the visuals because Im so glued to the words.
