Hi, I have been learning spanish for 4 years now and I have found a few good software courses.
If you want top notch and most expensive then go for rosetta stone which is an intelligent way of teaching with great graphics and tools such as choosing your own lessons and speech recognition technology which lets you know when your pronunciation is wrong. Other less expensive courses such as linkword and visual link spanish are also extremely good for beginners. Take a look at http://www.learn-spanish-with-ease.com for much more information on learning spanish from scratch, good luck, it’s fun and a lovely language to learn, Eleanor

Hola, the best way you can learn Spanish from the beginning is to get a tutor, any other resource is just a tool.
